Yatton Vets is bigger than you think!

We have full surgical, imaging and inpatient hospital facilities on site. There are separate kennel wards for cats and dogs, a laboratory for running various tests, and even a sterile operating theatre room for performing complex operations under sterile conditions.

We offer all the services you would expect from a first opinion small animal veterinary practice:

  • Consultations

We offer a full medical examination and consultation service for any sick or injured pets. We also offer nurse consultations, which are a convenient and cost-effective alternative to seeing the vet, and can be used for a variety of minor ailments and procedures.

  • Vaccinations

Protect your pet with vaccinations! We offer starter vaccinations and annual boosters for a wide variety of diseases in dogs, cats and rabbits – all with annual full health checks included.

  • Pet Passports

We can fully equip your pet to travel to many countries around the world, with services including microchip implantation, rabies vaccination, Pet Passport issue, and Export Certification.

  • House visits

A home visiting service is available (by prior appointment) for those times when it’s impossible or inappropriate for an animal to travel to the vets.

  • Micro-chipping

Microchips are quick, easy, and very cheap to implant. They are now a legal requirement for all dogs over 8 weeks old, and advisable for any pet that could get lost or stolen.

  • In-house laboratory diagnostics

Our practice offers a wide range of medical laboratory tests, useful for the diagnosis and treatment of various medical and surgical conditions.

  • Digital x-ray

Our clinic offers a full digital X-ray imaging suite, useful in the diagnosis of many conditions affecting the chest, abdomen or musculo-skeletal system.

  • Ultrasonography

Ultrasound is a useful tool in diagnosing a variety of conditions, such as heart and abdomen problems, and of course pregnancy!

  • Neutering

We offer routine neutering surgery for all dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Neutering is often recommended for prevention of various diseases and behavioural conditions.

  • Surgical operations

The clinic is equipped and staffed to provide a full surgical operating service on site, including general anaesthesia and inpatient care facilities.
